Manage strategic sourcing an compliance globally - Total Spend $29 Million for Commodities and $28 Million for Services (Temps) - Dotted-line Reports 3 (China, Czech Republic and USA) - Ensure compliance with EICC (Electronic Industry Citizen Coalition Code of Conduct), Reach & RoHS, Conflict Minerals (Frank Dodd Act), Wood and Plant based compliance (Lacey Act), WEEE reporting and several Client based Environmental initiatives

• As part of the initiative to establish a Supply Base Management Department at the Brno Solution Centre to drive commodity cost down and achieve savings, consolidated the procurement of commodities and running quotation request through multiple European suppliers to get the best deal
• Reduced the amount of suppliers per commodity to a level that would drive down management effort and decrease cost - YoY, reduced spend by $3 Million on commodities and $500,000 on temp agencies
• Instigated a Regional Contract including all conditions and scorecard and a Volume Discount Programme with suppliers based on spend - Generated an additional saving of $1.5 Million pa

• Managed the move of 4 Clients from the Apeldoorn (Netherlands) Solution Centre to a new Greenfield start-up in Brno (Czech Republic) - Sourced and recruited the first 200 employees and opened the new facility in June 2005 - Managed all Operations, Distribution and Business/Sales - New facility was operating with profit within 4 months
• Project managed the opening of another new facility next to the current, which included a warehouse and distribution function and also an Operations Department - Total Headcount 400 s - P&L Budget $70 Million

• Implemented Iomega’s late customisation lines and a ‘just in time’ process for external hard drives which were formatted and assembled at customer demand in Apeldoorn - Achieved savings due through the reduction of stock and pulls from external hard disk companies - Iomega had $10 Million worth of sales and saved in the 1st year $2 Million on holding inventory costs

• Instigated a major change and restructuring programme and transformed the Replication Department from loss-making into a profitable unit
• Implemented an Activity Based Cost Model, developed together with software partners, which allowed all departments to calculate cost and margin
• Working in partnership with Xerox, personally designed a marketing tool for Sony Dime, which became the first fully customised tool in the market that allowed for brochures to be tailored directly for the Sony’s customer

Started on shop-floor and achieved several promotions to this role- Managed Customer Service, Planning IT, Prepress and Procurement - Direct Reports 3 - P&L $50 Million - Additionally oversaw the EDP and DTP Department

• Project Leader for ‘Organ Donation’ - Member a government steering committee creating a platform for mailing and registering 12 Million Dutch citizens to commit to Organ Donation
• Project Leader for ‘Imation’ - Creation of a software platform for direct invoicing and billing through the internet
• Worked with 5 data programmers and 3 DTP specialists to create marketing material for Offset and Digital print department - Project Manager for the creation of an automatic invoicing and archiving system for Imation in Europe
