Mijn dromen en ambities

To this point, I have hunted my dreams. I believe that people should always be dreaming and yet contain a continuous vision on the future. Having travelled the world, the time has come to accomplish my next dream, creating a successful career.

I am a dedicated, motivated and open-minded international orientated person that graduated from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

I have gained international experience due to my successful (business) studies in Africa, America and Asia. Furthermore, I have worked abroad in Austria and I have backpacked South America. This has also improved my understanding of culture as well as my language skills.
Moreover, I gained experience in the International Marketing field by the development of a marketing strategy regarding to the World Cup football 2010 for a tourism company located in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. As a result, I have published a book worlwide, including marketing strategy.

Although I made academia my primary focus, I strived to devote time for other activities; for I believe that broad interests are the key to being a successful person. Hence, I have always had side-jobs besides my studies. This enhanced my professional skills as an employee.

In future I aim to broaden my horizon by personal development due to learning, experience as well as influence of different cultures that provide me the opportunity to grow as I believe it is a key success factor to work with outstanding individuals whilst exploring different ideas and mind-sets, which would allow me to improve my understanding. Hard-working, eagerness and enjoyment are vital for that.

- January 2010 – May 2010: Thesis: Research on the tourism development opportunities regarding winter sport areas in the North of India including marketing research.

- January 2009 – July 2009: Internship at The Long Street Travel Centre; Cape Town. Developed a marketing strategy including recommendations regarding the development of a product for the World Cup Football in South Africa 2010.
