• Research the thermoelectric technology and create a scientific archive
• Research the available options for efficiency improvement of the machines
• Determine the appropriate test setups and tools to be used
• Test the feasibility of the available efficiency improvement options and determine which one will be implemented
Results
• Creation of a theoretical archive for thermoelectric technology
• Expansion of the laboratory with new tools and experimental setups
• Identification of new materials and technologies for efficiency improvement of the machines
• Patent research and analysis
• Business trip to China to meet the manufacturer of thermoelectrics
• Test of prototypes

Responsibilities
• Research the electricity consumption as well as the electricity consumers
• Discover the available options for costs reduction on the site and research their feasibility
• Produce a report with the research findings
• Give advice/recommendation on the available options and their implementation
Results:
• Connection of the electricity consumption and production with the electricity market
• Improve the forecast
• Recommendations for the electricity consumption in a number of facilities
• Significant annual savings, approximately half million Euro
