I have worked for Shell during 29 years in technology & operations at various sites (5 years in England at the Stanlow Refinery and 4 years in the Scotford Oil Sands Upgrader in Canada),and in the central offices on technical support to refineries and on oil exploration & production technology development.
I am passionate to add value to customer business by solving problems and realising opportunities with the customer in an effective and pragmatic way. This skill has been matured by nine years of operational experience. In particular I love to solve challenging and difficult problems, starting from a fundamental understanding of the problem and applying my broad expertise and a creative & innovative mind set.
My main expertise is related to separation- and distillation- processes and produced/process water treatment/minimization. My skills innovation, process design, operation optimisation, energy optimisation, process safety, process safeguarding to chemically cleaning, decontamination, safety, environmental performance/ audits and furnace combustion technology.
