• Responsible for design and development of scientific projects, through all the stages, including system design, test and report of measurement and results, writing scientific papers and presenting at international conferences.
• Main project achievements were:
1. Implementation of an analog electronic neural network and related numerical algorithm to study the effect of different Gaussian noises on the control and synchronization of the chaotic neuronal behavior.
2. Development of an holographic microscope for refraction index measurements in organic and non-organic samples, with numerical 3D reconstruction of holograms.
3. Realization of an experimental system concerning the Infrared Digital Holography (IDH) applied to large moving objects and human targets. Part of the European Community's 7th Framework Program project “Real3D”.
4. Characterization and analysis of chaotic behavior in modulated CO2 lasers through experimental setups and numerical simulations concerning control of bursting, bistability and synchronization.
• Projects development required the advanced use and knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (optical and electronic equipment) as well as the use of numerical modeling and design software tools such as Matlab, OriginPro and CAD softwares.
